Job Description
Doncaster Foodbank (Trussell Trust) Ltd is pleased to offer an exciting job opportunity to suit a dynamic and organised individual who can assist in managing the administration of our food bank, and to help coordinate our wonderful team of over 50 volunteers.
Doncaster Foodbank opened in 2013. We currently run 4 sessions a week across 3 sites and liaise with local agencies to identify those in need in our city. In the year April 2022 to March 2023, we distributed over 8000 emergency food parcels to people living in food poverty, including nearly 3000 children. We are proud to be part of the respected Trussell Trust network of over 1400 UK food banks.
The appointed administrator will support the Project Manager, working closely to navigate our food bank through the cost-of-living crisis, whilst countering rising demand and amplifying awareness of our service.

Location
Doncaster – Working from home and on site at our warehouse/ food bank centres.
Salary
£11.50 per hour.
Type of Contract
Part Time – this is a 2-year fixed term position (extension of contract is dependent on securing funding).
Hours
16 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend work.
Closing Date
Noon on the 30th of June 2023.
