Work with us!!We are looking for volunteers to help on a regular basis at our Doncaster Foodbank Warehouse in Kirk Sandall.Tasks include;DrivingAssisting with collecting donations from supermarkets, business, schools and other places in the communityAssisting with delivering stock to our three foodbank centres in DoncasterWeighing, date checking and storing stockRecording donations, stock in and stock out on our databaseKeeping warehouse clear and tidyOur warehouse is currently open to the public for drop in donations on Tuesdays/Wednesdays and Thursdays between 9am and 12 noon, however we are in need of volunteers to attend before and after this to assist with completing the tasks mentioned above. For this reason, hours can be arranged with the warehouse manager to form a schedule suitable for you across each week between; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8am - 1pmFor those choosing to provide driving support, a clean valid drivers licence must be provided.We are also recruiting for our 3 foodbank centres in Hexthorpe, Wheatley and Rossington - various roles available including Admin, Listening/signposting, Door person, drinks, runner and stock room support. Our heartfelt thanks to every single person who has donated to our Easter Campaign this year 💚🍫🐰🐣💚🥫🥖🫒💚You've blown us away with your contributions this past few weeks! Last month, the bulk stock order to sustain demand at our centres reached over £3000 and so the much needed essentials for our food parcels which have been donated recently, alongside the hundreds of chocolate gifts, has made a HUGE difference for us this next few weeks, thank you 🤗 Your kind generosity has also meant that we could offer *every* visitor to our 3 centres, young and old, an Easter treat along with their provisions.
